Montblanc Meisterstück
It's all in the name. The Meisterstück - German for masterpiece - is both a piece of art and a rich slice of history. 100 years after its first introduction in 1924, the Meisterstück is the best known writing instrument of any Montblanc collection. The momentum behind it comes from the hands of Montblanc artisans, who continue to create finely-tuned, writing instruments of the highest possible quality.
To celebrate 100 years of Meisterstück, Montblanc delved deep into its archives and created the Origin collection, paying homage to the brand's rich history and heritage. The collection draws inspiration from early designs found in our archives, as well as design features featured on the earliest Meisterstück editions, capturing the founding spirit and infusing it with a modern flair.
TIMELESS CRAFTSMANSHIP
From beginnings in 1906, the name Montblanc came about in 1909, as a way of recognising their pen as the pinnacle of quality pens, as the Mont Blanc is the pinnacle of the Alps. In 1924, they introduced one of the most famous pen ranges in the world, the Meisterstuck ('masterpiece').
